Automatic image stitching

Autostitch is a graphic and design tool developed by indie developer, Matthew Brown, who built it especially for users who needs help in creating 2D panoramic images. As the program name suggests, it has the ability to stitch several pictures together, apply cropping options, and specify its output size. However, it only provides support for a single-file format called JPG

It is a lightweight utility that you can download and fully use free of charge. Autostitch is a more affordable alternative to paid photography programs like AutoPanoand PanoramaStudio.

Portable and automated operation

The program file that Autostitch offers to its users is portable. This only means that you can easily copy it on any USB flash drive or any other device. You can take it with you whenever or wherever you are and attend to your 2D panoramic photo needs effortlessly. Moreover, it leaves no trace in Windows Registry at all.

Its neat and straightforward interface enables you to upload files into the working space using the built-in browse function. Once you added all the selected images, the software will automatically process the design for the 2D panoramic photos. Therefore, it never creates a list of the uploaded files, and never allows you to insert or remove the images as well.

The configuration window, on the other hand, presents various parameters that you can customize to your preference. For instance, you can choose the output size and the blending method you'll use. You can also enable the auto-cropping feature or manually configure the cropping settings. Furthermore, it allows you to set the image orientation, and specify the certain JPEG quality you want.

Design 2D panoramic images effortlessly

Autostitch is a great catch for it can automatically help you in designing 2D panoramic images. It is packed with functions and features that can be customized depending on your preferences or desired outcome. The only drawback is it supports single-file format only and nothing more. Its clean and simple interface is suitable even for those who have less technical experience.
